View of Widdybank FellThis 4km, each way linear trail, starts at the car park at Cow Green Reservoir.  There is an option to extend the walk to a circular 12km walk, going past Widdy Bank Farm and taking in Widdybank fell.

With 10 highlighted points along the journey you can discover masses of fascinating facts about how the landscape has been formed over millions of years and details about the types of rocks and specific formations.  The walk takes in the beautiful cascade at Cauldron snout, this is a steep section and care should be taken negotiating the incline. 

Whilst on the walk be sure to look out for the rare artic-alpine plants, like the emblem of Teesdale the blue spring gentian that are specific to this area and are protected in the national nature reserve.
